Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: July 18, 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid plans on DayKeep (the "Service"), operated by Michael Prince, a sole proprietor trading as DayKeep.
1. Cancel anytime
You can cancel your paid subscription at any time from your account settings, or by emailing us at support@daykeep.io. There is no cancellation fee.
2. What happens when you cancel
When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing. You keep access to your paid features until the end of the current billing period that you have already paid for. After that, your account moves to the free plan and you will not be charged again. Your data remains in your account.
3. No partial or pro-rated refunds
Because access continues through the end of the period you paid for, we do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for the remaining, unused portion of a monthly or annual billing period, whether you cancel or simply stop using the Service.
4. How to cancel
- Open the app and go to your account or membership settings, then choose to cancel your plan; or
- email support@daykeep.io from your account's email address and we'll take care of it.
5. Billing problems
If you were charged in error, charged more than once for the same period, or believe there is a genuine billing mistake, contact us within 30 days and we'll review it and make it right.
When we issue a refund, it goes back to the original payment method used for the charge. We normally submit approved refunds within 5 business days of approval; depending on your bank or card issuer, the credit typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days after that.
6. Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the mandatory consumer laws that apply to you. Where such laws grant you a refund right, we honor it.
